When I travel, I want to eat mostly simple, but good and inexpensive. I do not need a great restaurant with extensive menus, because it costs too much time in the normal case. So I like to use sometimes a customer restaurant in a mall or department store.
The customer restaurant of the Kaufhof at Alexanderplatz is located in the 5th Floor, has a few tables next to the front window and offer a good view of the square.
The early breakfast can not be enjoyed here, because it opens at 09:30h. But a second breakfast - if you feel like it with salmon sandwiches and sparkling wine - is possible here. Or you can go here for lunch. The dish of the day you get for just under 8 EUR.
From my point of view: Recommended!
