FranceThe Calanques in the French Département Bouches-du-Rhône are small, fjord-like bays with very clear water where you can swim very well.
The "Calanque des Eaux Salées" has a pebble beach and is considered as a particularly spectacular, since the railway viaduct "Viaduc des Eaux Salées" is through the Calanque.
The Calanque can be achieved from Carry-le-Rouet train station within a one hour's walk.
From the station, keep left, turn right at the first roundabout and follow the signs "Plage du Rouet", then continue in the direction of "Calanque des Eaux Salées". At the "Tunnel de Matheron" turn right into the small path (stairs), now just follow the tracks to the viaduct.
