Camping Mer de Glace / Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The campsite Mer de Glace is located about 1.8 km in the North of Chamonix in Les Praz. The campsite is quiet, surrounded by mountains and 500m away from the train station of Les Praz.
You can set up your tent on a meadow or a piece of untreated wood. On the campsite is a closed and (if necessary) heated lounge. You will find here is a personal computer with free Internet access. There is also an open, roofed lounge where you can use your gas cooker. In the evening it is as well the meeting place for social gathering of the campers. There is no supermarket on the campsite, but croissants and baguettes can be ordered at the reception. A small supermarket, a post office and a tabac can be found in Les Praz (700m). There is also the base station of the Flégère cable station.

A special bonus: when you arrive you will get a guest pass for the duration of your stay. With this card you can use all buses in the Chamonix area and regional trains.
