As an adult, you pay 7 EUR.
There is also an evening ticket (from one hour before closing). This will cost 4.50 EUR.

In the past I didn't realy liked the zoo in Erfurt. But I have to say: since some years it is getting pretty good. Some enclosures are accessible. Well done!
There is now - not far from the main entrance - a picnic area.
From the restaurant "Weinberghaus" (which unfortunately is only accessible from the zoo area, not from outside), you have a fantastic view over the city.
I can't judge the food because I stayed there only for short time, but it looked good. The espresso I can't recommend!against ...
