In addition to the 160 lockers (for a fee) at the main station there is here in the shopping center Anger 1 still 50 free (!) lockers. These are accessible to the opening times (Monday-Saturday from 08:00 to 21:00 h). The lockers are located in the basement (past the fountain, in front of the elevators on the right). These are fairly small boxes, not as large as at the station. You can not deposit a suitcase or travel bag, but hand luggage or day pack you can put in and you will find just also a storage space for a jacket, an umbrella, and all that stuff, which actually you want to have with you during a city tour.

One of the public toilets is located BEHIND the Town Hall (at the parking lot). It is easy to find ... just in the alley leading around the town hall and you will directly see it. Note: Also IN the town hall are toilets, but these are only for visitors. You are "visitor" only if you look at the paintings in the staircase or if you visit the ballroom.

One of the public toilets is located in the street "An den Graden". To find it, go to the Cathedral Square, where the Indian restaurant is on the left (left-hand side of the Bauensembles Cathedral and Severi), turn left and walk to the end of the row of houses. Erfurt is a city in Germany that does not have enough public toilets - despite the many tourists. Due to the poor financial situation of the city, the situation will not improve in the foreseeable future. The few public toilets are often a little bit hidden. Therefore I would like to give you the information where to find them. One of the public toilets is located in the building (Pavillon) of "Billes Restaurant" (directly at the Kaufmannskirche/Luther Memorial on the Anger ... right opposite Anger 1). This is a modern property including changing facilities and a disabled toilet.

It is the THÜRINGEN (Thuringia) information! And so I only some flyer and a map (0.10 EUR). Anyone who wants information about the city of Erfurt should go to the information at the Benedict Place ("Benediktplatz") close to the town hall. They are much more friendly and also have diverse material available. I find it disappointing not to receive comprehensive information about the state capital at the Thuringia information.

Located at the "Krämpfervorstadt", but that's not far from the city center. Apparently very busy, as close to the university. A combination of laundromat and cafe. In summer you can even sit outside. Nice staff :-) If I remember correctly, there are: * 3 washing machines with 6.5 kg wash (one at 40 ° C wash temperature limited) + dryer in the appropriate size * 1 washing machine with 13 kg + dryer in the corresponding size
