Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
Alleo is the brand name for international high-speed trains between between France and Germany running at up to 320 km/h. For these services, both German ICE and French TGV trains are used. ICE Alleo services are operated with modern ICE Velaro trainsets, offering 2nd and 1st class seats in open-plan confirguration with air-condition and plugs. A restaurant car is available on all services.
No compulsory reservation for travels within Germany.
