Youth Hostel Hebelhof on the Feldberg / Feldberg im Schwarzwald

The youth hostel is located at the Feldberg in the Black Forest (in the same community) and is located approximately 3 km below the summit at an altitude of just over 1200 m. Feldberg is the highest community in Germany.

The hostel has 267 beds (all rooms with washbasin).
Following types of rooms are available:
- 2 x 1-bed room with shower / WC
- 10 x 2-bed rooms (9 with shower / WC)
- 8 x 3-bed rooms (5 with shower / WC)
- 19 x 4-bed rooms (4 with shower / WC)
- 22 x 6-bed rooms (including 8 with shower / WC)
- 1 x 7-bed room

*** Important! ***
In Germany, it is necessary to have a membership in the Youth Hostel Association to get access to this hostel.

*** How to get there ***
Take the train to the station Feldberg-Bärental, then by bus (bus stop right at the hostel).

*** Note ***
Although the hostel building is open from 07:00-22:00h, the opening times of the reception are different:
Reception: 08:30-09:30h and 17:00-21:45h

*** My tip ***
Book in advance with half board. So you get a hot meal in the evening, because there are not a lot of affordable dining options in this area.
