Ibis budget Hotel Hamburg-Wandsbek / Hamburg

We had a room with queen size bed.

The rooms have air conditioning and very good sound insulation. Located on a main road, but with the windows closed you can hear absolutely no noise from outside, really.

This budget ibis hotel has in my eyes three advantages:
- Good location (often ibis budget hotels are located just at motorways and train travelers simply can not reach them); with the regional train RB 10 you can reach it within 7 minutes + approx 300 meters walk to the hotel. You can also use the S1 (direction Airport / Poppenbüttel) to the station "Wandsbeker Chaussee". The walk is a bit longer, but the S-Bahn runs every 10 minutes (the RB only every 30 minutes). And on the way to the hotel you have several shops and restaurants.
- Not far away there are several bakeries offering breakfast menus and a restaurant with also inexpensive breakfast
- In the area several dining options are available (a lot of them in the same building, square)
