Good to know:
Interrail in Czech Republic is simple and easy. The railway network is very dense and there are frequent connections even on secondary lines. Main lines connect Prague with all important cities of the country and with the neighbouring countries. Regular international trains run to Berlin, Warsaw, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Munich.
Apart from Prague, other interesting cities are Brno, Ceske Budejovice, Plzen, as well as smaller towns such as Loket, Teplice, Karlovy Vary, Kutna Hora or Cesky Krumlov.
Timetables are available in our schedule planner or the Interrail app which include all trains and timings. You can also check on the national schedule planner.
On the most important line, from Prague to Ostrava, three different operators offer Intercity services: Beside State Railway CD there are also private operators Leo Express and RegioJet. These do not accept Interrail, however there are plenty of connections available with CD trains.
