The "Intercity Neigezug" is a tilting train operated by SBB (Swiss Railways). It is used mainly on the Jura Foot Line from Basel, St Gallen and Zurich to Biel, Neuchatel, Yverdon, Lausanne and Geneva. It also runs on some services from Basel to Lugano and Chiasso. Thanks to their tilting mechanism they can operate at higher speeds as regular trains.

ICN trains are operated by multiple units RABDe 500. In 2nd class there are four seats per row (2+2 seats), in 1st class three seats per row (2+1 seats) in open-plan arrangement with all seats facing each other. Trains are air-conditioned, have power sockets and a restaurant car serving a wide menu of drinks, snacks and meals. All trains have facilities for the disabled. Bicycles can be transported on all trains.

Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
