IC consist of modern EMU or refurbished coaches. All trains have 1st and 2nd class seats, most of them in open-plan arrangement: four seats per row (2+2) in 2nd class, three seats per row (2+1) in 1st class. On some trains there are also compartments with six seats.
All trains have air-condition and power sockets. Most services convey a restaurant car, and those wo don't have a minibar service. All trains have facilities for the disabled and most of them convey bicycles.
Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
