The "Sint-Michielskerk" is a Baroque church in the center of Leuven.
It was built between 1650 and 1666 by the architect Willem Hesius.
Previously, the present "Sint-Michielskerk" was the monastery church of a Jesuit monastery.
Today it is the most famous Jesuit church in Belgium.
The western façade is worth seeing - because of the numerous embellishments it resembles an altar.
