The town hall was built from 1439-1469 under the direction of architect Matheus de Layens.
The facade of the three-floors-high town hall is made up of about 250 niches, in which interesting figures were set-in (eg biblical figures, artists, counts of Leuven, dukes of Brabant, important personalities of the city of Leuven).
Daily at 15:00 (except on 01.01. and 25.12.) a guided tour will take place.
The price is: EUR 4, with SNCB ticket: EUR 2 (in my case an InterRail Pass was accepted, simply show it!)
Open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 h!
