The Calanques in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône are small, fjord-like bays with very clear water where you can swim very well.
The Calanque de Callelongue is very easy to reach by public transport from Marseille.
Best to take the bus number 19 from station Castellane and continue to the terminus Madrague de Mont Redon. Here you change to bus number 20 until the station Callelongue. The bus stops right at the Calanque.
The Calanque de Callelongue has a small sandy beach and a small harbor.
Note: In July and August, the trails in the Calanques are closed due to the high fire danger!
