The Calanques in the French departement Bouches-du-Rhône are small, fjord-like bays with very clear water, where it can swim very well.
The "Calanque du Port de Pomègues" is located on the "Ile de Pomègues", the southernmost island of the Frioul archipelago. After arriving by ferry on the "Ile de Ratonneau", cross the dam "Digue Berry" and follow the path shortly before the "Tour de Poméguet". Then turn left, after a few meters the Calanque is reached.
Think on good footwear, food and sunscreen (on the island there is hardly any shade!).
