Rheinquelle
Lake Toma ("Tomasee ") in the Swiss canton of Graubünden is considered as the source of the river Rhine. The 2-acre lake is located 2,345 meters above sea level and is crossed by the Rein da Tuma. From the Oberalppass you reach the Tomasee after about an hour of rapid walk (hiking shoes required!).
