Garden House Hostel Porto / Porto

The Garden House Hostel in Porto is pretty centrally located, just 1 minute's walk from the metro station Bolhao at the Rua de Santa Catarina.
The hostel is in a great old building with wooden floors, very new and clean bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen.
There are washer / dryers, personal computers with Internet and headphones, a TV room with a comfortable sofa, etc. And you can also buy a few drinks, which can then be enjoyed on the terrace.
The rooms are equipped very useful: there are only beds and under each the beds you find your own big locker!

The hostel can be noisy at night, because it pretty much echoes in the stairwell. Ask for a room in the back or take some ear plugs.
I paid for a 6-bed room with breakfast per night EUR 16 - perfectly adequate for me.

the hostel is a bit hard to find because the name is very small and below the bell.
