Park Babelsberg
I lived near Schloss Babelsberg as an Erasmus student last summer. The park is lovely to walk around on a hot day with friends, or just to enjoy the scenery sitting by the lake while relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets.

The "Potsdam Water Taxi" is a regular transport service by ship. It operates two ships - the water taxi 1 and water taxi 2. The route includes 13 stations. You can spent this way a wonderful day on water and reach at the same time many attractions. I recommend a day ticket (price: 14 EUR). The stations: 1 – Park Glienicke – Krughorn 2 – Sacrow – Heilandskirche 3 – Cecilienhof – Meierei 4 – Glienicker Brücke 5 – Schloss und Park Babelsberg 6 – Schiffbauergasse – Hans Otto Theater 7 – Potsdam Hauptbahnhof – Hafen 8 – Neustädter Havelbucht – Sanssouci 9 – Potsdam West – Arcona Hotel 10 – Inselhotel Potsdam – Hermannswerder 11 – Kongresshotel am Templiner See 12 – Seminaris See-Hotel Potsdam 13 – Strandbad / Forsthaus Templin
