The Favorit Hotel in Sofia (Bulgaria) is very close to the railway station, just 5 minutes walk. It is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed in a suite which wasn't expensive. And I can definitely recommend this hotel. The city center is easy to reach by foot.
