JR East - JR東日本

The East Japan Railway Company (東日本旅客鉄道株式会社, short form: JR東日本, JR East) is a Japanese railway company. Often also called JR Higashi-Nihon. It serves the Greater Tokyo area and the Shinkansen network north of Tokyo: Morioka, Akita, Nagano, Niigata, Sendai, Shin-Aomori, Fukushima and Shinjo.
