Travel from Latvia to Lithuania by train. At the border station of Daugavpils you have to change the train. You have to buy two train tickets.
1. One train ticket from your departure station in Latvia to Daugavpils. Example from Riga to Daugavpils the ticket fare is 7 EUR. The journey time is 3:25 hours.
2. One train ticket from Daugavpils to your travel destination in Lithuania. Example from Daugavpils to Vilnius the ticket fare is 9 EUR. The journey time is 2:40 hours.
Both tickets are available at the Internet sites of Latvian and Lithuania railways.
If no train connections is available on your planed travel journey, use one of the frequent buses.
