GermanyOn 17 June 2000, opened the Creperie du Palais.
As the name suggests, it's in the French style and is referred to as Creperie.
The owners are a German-French family.
The location is - unfortunately - quite small.
We sat outside and everything was okay. In front of the entrance there is a single small table. But don't be fooled. Just cross the small street and you will find a few small round tables under beautiful old trees. But watch out! Not all tables belong to the Creperie! (only the tables in the left pane, the tables on the right side belong to the pizzeria)
It was a warm summer day. It was wonderful to sit in front of the old walls in the shade of large trees. Just perfect.
However, we fear that we will have no chance to get a seat in the winter months when you have to sit inside.
Location
The Creperie is totally centralized, absolute in the city center. Near the Wittumspalais.
Opening times
Whenever I was in Weimar, it was always open.
I remember it was written open from 1100h (I'm not sure).
How long - I did not even care.
Range
Galettes and crepes of all kinds;
We ordered crepe with orange marmalade - highly recommended!
And we had café au lait.
The prices are pretty cheap (often the case when a lot of students live in the town).
Of course there is also cider available.
