On the island Foehr, you should definitely try the "Frisian cake" (Friesentorte). You won't get it everywhere, but you get it at the Café Steigleder.
The cafe is generally very popular and thus very busy. It is very difficult to nearly impossible to get a free table (at least for the "regular" coffee time around 15:00/16:00 h plus in good weather; in bad weather and around 17:00/18:00, you may succeed). From the two tables right by the window in the dining room, you have a fantastic view of the North Sea, to the islets and the incoming and outgoing ferries. The two tables in the second row offer as well a good view.
