Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
The Railjet is a modern high speed train running on the route from Prague via Brno to Vienna and Graz and Austria. Czech Railways (CD) have purchased seven trainsets which they operate jointly with trainsets of Austrian Railways (ÖBB).
Railjet trains are fixed trainsets with 2nd and 1st class. Additionally "Business" accomodation is provided at a surcharge on top of the 1st class ticket.
- Seats are arranged in open-plan style only
- Air-condition

The trains consist of five 2nd class coaches (coaches 21 to 25; bicycle compartment and children area in coach 21; quiet area in coach 23); one restaurant coach with 1st class seats, seats for passengers with reduced mobility and an information desk (coach 26) and one driving trailer with 1st class and business class seats (coach 27)

1st class business seats are available in coach 27. In the older Railjet trains they are in small cubicles, offering privacy and comfortable reclining seats. In the newer trains the reclining seats are located next to the regular 1st class seats.
On some Railjet services between Czech Republic and Austria trainsets of Austrian Railways are in use which slightly differ from the Czech version. The Austrian trains have just four 2nd class coaches and instead three 1st class coaches.
Between Prague and Vienna the cheaper "Happy Hour" prices in the restaurant car apply.
