2b Travelling from Seville (Spain) to Faro (Portugal)
To travel from Sevilla (Spain) to Faro (Portugal) you have to use a bus. There is no direct train available. The journey time is 2,5 hours. Bus tickets are available from 8 Euro.
If you want to travel by train, it is a big detour. You first have to travel to Madrid (Spain). From Madrid by night train to Lisbon (Portugal). And then from Lisbon to Faro.

3b Travelling from Vigo (Spain) to Porto (Portugal)
There are only two rail links between Spain and Portugal: the night trains from Madrid and Irun to Lisbon and the "Celta" trains in the north from Vigo to Porto. There is no rail connection in the south. When travelling between Sevilla to Faro we recommend to take the direct bus instead.
