A journey from Moscow to Beijing takes about five days and tickets are available from 500 EUR. The route is served by Russian railways RZD and Chinese railways.

2c Travelling from Beijing (China) to Hong Kong (China)
To travel from Beijing to Hong Kong in China by train, you can either use the direct high-speed train or travel by overnight train. The travel time for this journey of 2.400 kilometres is now only nine hours (instead of twelve in the past) by high-speed train. The journey time for the night train is about 24 hours.
The departure time of the high-speed train is at Beijing West station at 10:00 h in the morning. Arrival time in Hong Kong West Kowloon station at 18:58 h in the evening.
Ticket prices starts from Euro 137 (CNY 1.077) in second class. First class is Euro 219 (CNY 1.724). Business class Euro 427 (CNY 3.369). Child ticket prices are 50% of the adult prices. You can buy your ticket up to 30 days in advance via one of the booking links mentioned bellow.
The high-speed train route is via Chinas major cities like Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
Optional you have the night train which takes about 24 hours of travel time including one night in the train. It runs every second day from Beijing West Station to Hong Kong Hung Hom Station.
The departure time in Beijing West Station is at 12:40 h at noon. The arrival time in Hong Kong Hung Hom (Kowloon) Station 13:01 the next day.
The night train is much cheaper than the high-speed train and the common standard way of travel. Ticket prices starts from Euro 28 (CNY 215) in second class (hard sleeper, six berths in or open compartment). First class is Euro 41 (CNY 323) with four berths in a soft sleeper. Business class Euro 58 (CNY 452) is a deluxe soft sleeper with to berths in a compartment and a private toilet. Child ticket prices are 50% of the adult prices. You can buy your ticket for the direct night train up to 28 days in advance via one of the booking links mentioned bellow.
The night train runs via Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuchang and Zhengzhou.
