2b Travelling from Boden (Sweden) to Kemi (Finland)
Travel from Boden (Sweden) to Kemi (Finland) by a combination of train and bus. The journey time is 2:30 hours. The ticket fare is 23 EUR.
First take the train from Boden to Haparanda which is operated by "Norrtåg". The journey time is 1:25 hours. The train ticket fare is 166 SEK (17 EUR).
In Haparanda you change to the bus in direction of Kemi. The bus ticket fare is 6 EUR. The bus connection runs every hour. Buy your ticket at the bus driver or at the Matkahuolto website. The departure station is: Haparanda-Tornio [NB. Finnish time]. The arrival station is: Kemi railway station.
From Kemi you have good train connections to the north and the south of Finland, also by overnight train.
