There is another trainstation called Xiamen Goaqi, it supports only slow trains and is situated west of the Gaoqi Airport.
The old trainstation in the city center is no more in use.
From Xiamen North trainstation there is a Bus connection called BRT that passes "almost" Gaoqi airport and crosses the whole Ile from north to south.
