To travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm by train, you have frequent direct SJ X2000/Snabbtåg trains - at least every two hours. The journey time is about five hours. More connections are available with change in Malmö including an Öresundståg on the first part.

3b Travelling from Gdańsk (Poland) to Nynäshamn (Sweden)
To travel the direct way from Poland to Sweden, make use of a ferry. There are two main travel routes available.
A) Gdansk to Nynäshamn /Stockholm
Travel by train to Gdansk. Change to the ferry. The journey time of the ferry is 18 hours. Ferry tickets are available from 69 EUR.
From Nynäshamn use a direct suburban train to Stockholm main railway station (1:15 hours, 3 EUR).
B) Świnoujście to Ystad
Travel by train to Świnoujście. Change to the ferry. The journey time of the ferry is 5:30 hours. Ferry tickets are available from 34 EUR. In Ystad, have a short walk from the ferry terminal to the railway station.
Continue by train from Stockholm or Ystad to your final travel destination in Sweden.
You need three tickets in total.
1) One train ticket from your departure railway station to Gdansk or Świnoujście.
2) One ferry ticket from Poland to Sweden.
3) One train ticket from the ferry port to your final travel destination.
