Deutsche Bahn offers train tickets from selected destinations in Sweden to Germany, called "Sparpreis Europa". The ticket fare starts at 37 EUR.
These train tickets are available from cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö to Germany. They always include transit through Denmark on InterCity, EuroCity and ICE trains. From Sweden to Copenhagen, tickets are only available for travel on SJ high-speed trains (marked "X2000" when booking) or Öresundståg trains.

2a Travelling from Stockholm (Sweden) to Copenhagen (Denmark)
To travel from Stockholm to Copenhagen by train, you have frequent direct SJ X2000/Snabbtåg trains - at least every two hours. The journey time is about five hours. More connections are available with change in Malmö including an Öresundståg on the second part.

2b Travelling from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Düsseldorf (Germany)
To travel from Denmark to Germany by train, use one of the daily connections which usually runs via Hamburg. Please use the following booking links to find schedules and ticket prices. The "Europe Special" price of Deutsche Bahn is available from EUR 39. As earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are.
If you want to include a night train, there is currently only one IC train travelling overnight from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Hamburg (Germany). In 2021 a new line will open from Stockholm via Copenhagen to Hamburg and Berlin.

3b Travelling from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Hamburg (Germany)
Travel from Copenhagen to Hamburg by direct InterCity train. The journey time is 4:36 hours. Train tickets are available from EUR 29. There are at least three direct connections daily.
Departure of the direct trains in Copenhagen ("Koebenhavn H") at 07:26, 11:26 and 15:26.
Arrival in Hamburg ("Hamburg Hbf") at 12:02, 16:02 and 20:02.
