Montenegro - Albania
Travel from Montenegro to Albania by bus. There are no passenger train connections between these two countries.
Travel by one of the frequent bus (minibus) connections from Ulcinj or Podgorica to Shkoder (Albania). There are as well long-distance bus connections from Kotor via Podgorica and Shkoder to Tirana.

Montenegro - Bosnia-Herzegovina
To travel from Montenegro to Bosnia-Herzegovina, you have to use a bus. There is no direct train connection available. There are daily and direct buses from Podgorica (Montenegr🧐 to Sarajevo and Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina). Buy these bus tickets directly at the bus terminal for about EUR 15-20 one-way.
Montenegro - Croatia
There is no railway connection between the countries of Montenegro and Croatia. You have to take the bus on the route along the Adriatic coast from Podgorica, Bar and Kotor (Montenegr🧐 to Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Split.
The journey time from Bar to Dubrovnik by bus is about 3,5 hours. The bus ticket fare starts from 15 EUR.
To travel by train, you have the option to travel from Montenegro on the scenic railway route to Belgrade (Serbia) with a ticket price from 24 EUR. There you change to the train from Belgrade to Zagreb (Croatia) with a ticket price from 30 EUR.

Montenegro - Kosovo
To travel from Montenegro to Kosovo you have to use a bus. There are daily bus connections from Podgorica (Montenegr🧐 to Pristina (Kosov🧐 for a ticket price of about EUR 15. The journey time is about eight hours. Buy the bus ticket directly at the bus station.
Montenegro - Serbia
Direct train connections via day and overnight connect Serbia and Montenegro via one of the most scenic rail routes of Europe.
This rail route leads from Bar and Podgorica via the mountains of Montenegro to Belgrade (Serbia).
The journey time on the journey from Bar to Belgrade is about 11 hours. The ticket price is 21 EUR in 2nd class and 32 EUR in 1st class. A seat reservation is 3 EUR. In the night train the standard berth prices is 6 EUR. In a sleeper cabin the prices depends on its capacity (reservation fare per person): 3 persons 15 EUR, 2 persons 20 EUR, 1 person 45 EUR.
